Utah Trip

A few weeks ago I (catherine) went to Utah for a few days to watch my Sisters kids while they went to Hawaii. 5 kids for 8 days... and I made it out alive!!! It was fun to see all my neices, nephews and family! Thanks for making the trip enjoyable!!! Sarah and Brady thank you for coming home! I love ya!

March Madness

This has been a month of Madness and I am not just talking Basketball. SNOW, that is all I have to say. We are at the 2nd snowiest Winter in Milwaukee history, I guess we might as well go for #1 (Bring it on snow!)In fact it is snowing right now. We did have a nice day yesterday and it has been great to finally jog outside.

Elizabeth is pulling herself up onto everything and anything. She is so playful and gets more and more fun each day. Jackson is plugging away on his surgery rotation and we feel lucky when we get to spend time with him.
Enjoy the pics!!!

February adventures...

This past month we have been trying to stay on the positive side of winter and embrace what it has to offer. Therefore; snowshoeing and ski/bike sledding were amoung our top activities to keep the spirits up. So far so good.
Elizabeth is growing like a weed and we are loving every bit of it. Each day is a new adventure...
I (Catherine) am off to Utah tomorrow to watch my Sisters kids. I welcome anyone who is brave enough to come on by and say hello.

My brother Morgan was just offered a Job with the University of Utah football team as the safties coach. I am so proud of him and all the hard work he has done to make things happen. He is such a great example to me! Way to go Morg! and GO UTES!!!

New Tricks

Elizabeth is finally starting to crawl, some days are good and some days are bad. But most likely they are good. Yesterday she was so hyper the whole day she would just laugh and smile at any and everyone. It makes taking her out a blast because I get to feel a little like a celebraty (or maybe it is the fact that there are not too many babies in Wisconsin. )
The other new trick up Elizabeth's sleeve is waving. We'll keep you posted of other new tricks.

Just a side note: I was listening to the talk radio here and they were talking about why people from other states think women in Wisconsin are not pretty. (I thought this would be interesting!) the comments in response were that Women in Wisconsin are so conserned about keeping their eyeballs from freezing off, they don't have time to primp. There were some other funny comments, and I have to agree, these past few days is all about keeping your toes, fingers and eyeballs attached to your body.

Although the weather is the pits. Jackson and I have tried to make the best of it by trying out the lovely sport of cross country skiing. Even though it was about 0 degrees we still had a blast.
